Dakar Rally 2025 will kick off on January 3, marking a new chapter in Saudi Arabia’s sporting history. This sixth edition of the renowned international event will run until January 17, under the organization of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
From South to North: The Dakar Rally 2025 Route
For the first time, the adventure will begin in the southern region of Bisha, with competitors embarking on a journey that stretches from the south to the north of Saudi Arabia. The route then turns eastward, leading participants deep into Shubaytah in the heart of the Empty Quarter—the world’s largest continuous sand desert. Over 14 days, racers will traverse diverse terrains, offering a chance to explore breathtaking landscapes and discover the rich historical heritage of the region.

Dakar Rally is recognized as one of the toughest sporting challenges globally, attracting elite racers and adventure enthusiasts to a spectacular desert setting.
