Introduction
We were invited by Jaguar and Land Rover to attend the official launch and test drive of the highly anticipated Range Rover Evoque. To make this launch truly unique, we had the opportunity to test the vehicle at the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea in Jordan.
Arriving at the Dead Sea
We arrived at the Dead Sea on Tuesday afternoon, where we were welcomed at the luxurious Kempinski Hotel Ishtar. After settling into our rooms to rest, we were invited to a lavish dinner where we mingled with event organizers and experts from Jaguar Land Rover, discussing what the following day had in store for us.
Driving Experience
On Wednesday morning, we enjoyed breakfast followed by our first look at the car, along with a brief overview of the day's activities. We captured photos and videos to share on social media, then made our way to the parking area where a fleet of Range Rover Evoque vehicles in various trims and colors awaited us.
Setting Off to the Dead Sea Panorama
Our experience began at the hotel as we set off towards the Dead Sea Panorama, "one of the most beautiful places to view the Dead Sea and the borders of beloved Palestine." The drive included challenging roads for approximately three hours, during which we got a quick glimpse of the car's features and capabilities.
