Fundraising Efforts
This fundraising event held in Dubai featured a charity auction for exclusive luxury phone numbers and license plates, raising nearly 100 million dirhams (about 27 million USD). The proceeds will support the "Billion Meals Initiative" launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

A local newspaper reported that the auction, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation in partnership with several institutions in the UAE, included 35 unique numbers for sale. Among the items auctioned were:
- 14 exceptional license plate numbers from "Roads and Transport Authority".
- 10 exclusive phone numbers from "du".
- 11 diamond phone numbers from "Etisalat & e".
Record Auction Numbers
During the auction, the world's most expensive license plate "P7" was sold for 55 million dirhams, surpassing the previous record of 52.2 million dirhams.
Diamond Phone Numbers
Additionally, a diamond phone number "0548888888" offered by "Etisalat" was purchased for 2.3 million dirhams, while a platinum phone number from "du" sold for 2 million dirhams.
Billion Meals Initiative
It is noteworthy that the "Billion Meals Initiative" fund is the largest feeding endowment aimed at supporting millions of needy families and providing them with food. The "Noble Number" auction contributed to raising 97.92 million dirhams.
Prominent Figures at the Auction
The auction attracted prominent figures from various economic sectors and charitable organizations who were eager to contribute to humanitarian efforts such as the "Billion Meals Initiative". This initiative has raised approximately 514 million dirhams through various donations and contributions from individuals and companies.
