Car Specifications
The Ferrari 488 Challenge replaces the previous 458 Challenge model, and Ferrari claims this car is the most powerful Challenge vehicle they have ever produced. It features a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the same as in the standard 488 GTB, generating an impressive 660 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque.
Car Performance
As the most powerful Challenge car to date, it boasts unique powertrain settings tailored for high performance in racing conditions. The reduced gear ratio in the transmission enhances acceleration by 11.6% compared to the 458 Challenge Evo.
Car Design
The design, as shown in the photos, features an impressive aerodynamic system. It comes equipped with a new hood, a redesigned front bumper, distinctive wings with new air vents, and a new rear spoiler, all contributing to its unique aerodynamic profile.
Weight and Performance
Ferrari has worked to eliminate any unnecessary components, significantly reducing the car's weight to ensure it is much faster than the road version. This car can complete the Fiorano test track in 1:15.5, which is eight seconds quicker than the road car, a significant advantage in the automotive world.
