Ford Bronco: The Return of the Beloved Off-Road Vehicle
History of the Ford Bronco
The Ford Bronco is an iconic vehicle that was produced by the American company Ford from 1966 until it was officially discontinued in 1996. This vehicle has long been a favorite among off-road enthusiasts worldwide. Recently, it has been confirmed that the Bronco will be reintroduced to the market.
According to Raj Nair, Ford's Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, the new Bronco will be built on the foundation of the Ford Ranger and is expected to hit the markets in 2020.
Dimensions and Design of the Bronco
At the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, Nair confirmed that the size of the Bronco will fall between the larger models of the 1990s and the smaller models from the 1960s. With the Explorer being recognized for its off-road capabilities, the Bronco will occupy a significant place in Ford's production line as an affordable off-road vehicle.
Expectations for the Bronco's Design
While more detailed information about the vehicle has yet to be released, this has not stopped Photoshop professionals from imagining what the upcoming Bronco could look like. If their outputs are accurate, it seems this is the vehicle that enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting. Ford is currently very cautious about any additional information released, but their decision to bring the Bronco back to the market is undoubtedly a fantastic move.
