Chinese carmaker GAC Motor is looking to bolster its distribution in the region with the opening of the Middle East Parts Distribution Center at Jebel Ali Free Zone, UAE. GAC Motor aims to establish top-level services that will cover a vehicle’s entire lifecycle and ensure that customers have a hassle-free ownership experience.
The distribution center will have state-of-the-art local warehouses with over 2,000 types of component car parts in stock, worth more than US$1.5 million. The quick availability of parts will make it possible for GAC Motor to respond to varying demands.
Since June 1, the center has been operating on a trial basis. The center’s framework gives priority to parts used in new models. The logistics efficiency has been increased as the order cycle time has been decreased from 25 to 7 days.
GAC Motor hopes that sales of new models like EMKOO and EMZOOM will rise after the opening of this new center while ensuring convenience for GS3, GS5, and GS8 owners.
The Middle East Parts Distribution Center is the first of seven planned overseas GAC MOTOR parts warehouses to be established. This center will further boost the firm’s target of a “Trillion-Yuan GAC” by 2030.
