Korean automaker Genesis has been making quite an impact in the automotive space with its stunning G80 sedan, the striking GV80 SUV, and the refreshed G70 sedan. Joining the lineup is the G70 Shooting Brake, which has been confirmed to be “coming soon.”
Teaser Images and Design
The company has released the first set of teaser images on various social media platforms, showcasing a lightly camouflaged prototype that closely resembles the facelifted G70 sedan recently unveiled. The design features include:
- Sloping roof
- Angular liftgate
- Distinctive brake light with a ‘V’-shaped accent
Apart from a brief “Coming Soon” message, not much else is known, but the automaker has advised fans to get ready to “Welcome a new, eye-catching member to our family of Athletic Elegance.”
Engine Options
The G70 Shooting Brake could come equipped with the following engine options:
- 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder: Produces 249 horsepower and 353 Nm of torque.
- 3.3-liter turbo six-cylinder: Delivers 365 horsepower and 510 Nm of torque.
In the Middle East, the turbodiesel option is not available, but European markets can expect a 2.2-liter turbodiesel producing 199 horsepower and 441 Nm of torque.
Anticipated Release
