Global EVRT Road Trip: Accelerating Electric Vehicle Adoption in UAE and Oman
Returning for the second year in a row, Global EVRT and electric vehicle advocates are set to take on UAE and Oman in an epic 1,217-kilometer road trip that will span nine days and introduce eighteen new charging stations to accelerate the adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the region.

Road Trip Overview
This nine-day road trip will guide a convoy of all-electric powered vehicles through the deserts of Abu Dhabi, the mountains of Oman, and along the rugged coastline of the Northern Emirates. Starting in Abu Dhabi, the cars will visit:
- Sohar
- Muscat
- Fujairah
- Ras Al Khaimah
- Umm Al Quwain
- Ajman
- Sharjah
The journey will culminate at The Sustainable City in Dubai.

New Charging Stations
The new charging stations will be established at key locations in the UAE and Oman, including:
- Crowne Plaza Yas Island
- Crowne Plaza Sohar
- Crowne Plaza Muscat
- InterContinental Muscat
- InterContinental Fujairah
These stations will serve as permanent fixtures to expand the current EV infrastructure.
Participate in the Road Trip
Tickets are available for the public to participate and drive an electric vehicle for sections of the trip. Options include:
- All nine days
- Shorter five-day jaunt from Abu Dhabi to Muscat (January 18th to January 22nd)
- From Muscat to Dubai (January 22nd to January 26th)
