Jaguar Land Rover held a super-exclusive event for the launch of their all-new first-ever SUV – the F-Pace. The event was held in Montenegro and it was only for the media. There were 170 members of the media were invited from countries all over the world Jaguar booked the entire month of April for this event. There were 30 journalists invited from the Middle East media community and we were present there as well.

The media was pampered throughout the event by the Jaguar team led by Chris Wilde – the brand director for Jaguar Land Rover MENA region. He was constantly assisted by Angelina Hedra – the PR executive from Weber Shandwick. Both were amazing hosts and took care of the guests every step of the way.

All of us met at the Dubai airport. From there, we flew to Frankfurt – Germany to spend the night and network with other media members flying in from other Middle Eastern countries. The next day, we took a chartered flight from Frankfurt to Tivat – Montenegro. Once in Montenegro, the JLR team arranged the Jaguar XJs to pick us up from the airport and then straight to the docks where the ferry was waiting for us. The ferry had all the Jaguar SUVs nicely parked and each of the journalists was assigned a particular car.

After a drive briefing, we each sat in the allotted cars and drove from there. Montenegro is a picturesque place for a drive with beautiful country roads. Unfortunately, the weather did not support our cause as there were heavy rains and hail storm throughout the journey but we still made the best out of it. All in all, a memorable drive and experience. Kudos to the hosts!
