Jetour Shanghai T1: The New Hybrid SUV
Jetour has officially launched its new Shanghai T1 in the Chinese market, available in three variants priced between 154,800 to 174,800 yuan, equivalent to approximately 81,450 to 91,900 Saudi Riyals. Featuring an eye-catching boxy design that aligns with Jetour's new styling direction, this hybrid SUV is built on a unibody structure, offering an all-electric range of 150 km under CLTC testing conditions and a total range of 1300 km. This model is available exclusively in a four-wheel-drive configuration in the Chinese market. Jetour also unveiled its 3.0 off-road driving concept, focusing on five key areas: off-road capabilities, safety, comfort, intelligence, and environmental considerations. Exterior Design
The dimensions of the Jetour Shanghai T1 are 4706 mm in length, 1967 mm in width, and 1845 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2810 mm. Its exterior design is similar to that of the Jetour T2, featuring headlights connected to the central grille adorned with stylish daytime running lights, giving it a distinctive depth. In terms of performance, the Shanghai T1 utilizes Chery's advanced Kunpeng hybrid technology C-DM, featuring a hybrid 1.5TD engine with a thermal efficiency of up to 44.5%, delivering a maximum power of 156 horsepower and a torque of 220 Nm.
The dual-drive version is equipped with an electric motor generating 204 horsepower and a torque of 310 Nm, resulting in a combined output of 360 horsepower and a torque of 530 Nm. The vehicle relies on a lithium iron phosphate battery from China Innovation Airlines, providing a pure electric range of 150 km and a fuel consumption of 5.89 liters per 100 km. The total range of the vehicle reaches 1300 km, with fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes under normal conditions, and in low temperatures (below 20 degrees Celsius), charging takes only 35 minutes. The system supports external discharge capabilities of up to 6.6 kW.
