Kavak Launches the World’s Largest Customer Center in Dubai
Kavak has officially opened the doors to the world’s largest customer center in Dubai, marking a transformative step for the used car market across the GCC. The global automotive giant, now valued at $8.7 billion, has announced its official launch in the UAE.
Kavak’s Unique Approach to Used Cars
Unlike any other used car platform in the region, Kavak eliminates the uncertainty typically associated with buying pre-owned vehicles. Kavak is not a broker connecting buyers and sellers; instead, it owns every car in its inventory. Each vehicle undergoes a rigorous 240-point inspection before being listed, ensuring the highest standards of reliability. With the largest selection in the area, Kavak currently offers hundreds of thoroughly inspected cars available for immediate purchase.
Commitment to Quality and Dedicated Service Centers
Every car sold by Kavak receives comprehensive maintenance, and the company is actively establishing its own service centers throughout the region to uphold strict quality standards. Kavak has already invested in a 15,000-square-meter service facility in Dubai. Once fully operational, this center will employ 150 staff and expert mechanics, with the capacity to service up to 1,300 vehicles each month. Services offered will include refurbishment, maintenance, and warranty repairs. Plans are also underway to open a similar customer center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Warranty, Return Policy, and Customer Assurance
Kavak vehicles come with a complimentary 90-day warranty, an optional extended warranty, and a 7-day return policy. The company prides itself on its comprehensive evaluation process and its commitment to full ownership and quality assurance, guaranteeing the highest level of service before, during, and after the purchase.
Digital Car Buying Experience
While Kavak operates a physical showroom, customers can also complete the entire purchasing process online via Kavak.com, serving buyers across the GCC region.
Leadership Perspective and Expansion Strategy
Commenting on Kavak’s distinctive strategy, Marwan Shaar, Co-CEO of Kavak GCC, stated: “Quality standards have become the most critical factor in the global used car market. Kavak’s model has disrupted the industry by delivering consistency and reliability, ensuring customers feel confident and secure in their purchase. Kavak also offers warranties of up to two years, providing true peace of mind. The GCC presents a significant opportunity to deliver a transparent, high-level user experience for buying and selling used cars, and we are excited to embark on this journey with Kavak.”
Kavak’s Global Presence and Future Investment
Founded in Mexico in 2016 by Carlos Garcia Ottati, Kavak is a technology and data-driven platform for used cars, now operating in ten countries including Turkey and the GCC. Kavak plans to invest $130 million over the next two years to establish and expand its operations across the Gulf region.
