Exterior Design
Lexus has executed the facelift skillfully, making it hard to distinguish from its predecessor for those not deeply familiar with cars. The updates include new headlamps, taillamps, front and rear bumpers, and fresh alloy wheels. The SUV boasts a bolder profile and commanding road presence, enhanced by sequential indicators reminiscent of Audi's design, adding a touch of premium quality. Overall, the LX570 now aligns closely with other Lexus models in aesthetic appeal.
Interior and Safety
The interior has received significant visual enhancements, featuring a completely redesigned dashboard with a wide 12.3” screen operated by a joystick. While this setup is an improvement over the previous touchpad, many may prefer a traditional rotating dial or touchscreen. High-quality leather adorns the interior, and you will find a leather/wood steering wheel, numerous buttons by the gearbox, climate control, head-up display, a cool box, and a 19-speaker audio system. However, the head-up display requires awkward adjustments for proper alignment. In terms of safety, the LX570 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of features, including a 360-degree camera, sensors, multiple airbags, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot detection. Overall, this car is fully loaded with advanced safety technologies.
Driving Experience
The 5.7 liter V8 engine remains unchanged, producing about 362 BHP, which may disappoint some drivers expecting upgrades in power delivery, especially considering the price. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, providing a smooth driving experience. However, steering feel can be overly firm, especially in older models. The air suspension effectively mitigates bumps, although the body roll can make driving feel akin to handling an American truck. Overall, improvements in driving dynamics would have been appreciated beyond cosmetic updates.

Verdict
The LX570 now competes closely with the Range Rover in pricing but does not quite deliver the same luxury feel.
