History of the Lincoln Brand
The Lincoln brand has been around for nearly 100 years, starting in 1917 and joining Ford in 1922. Since then, it has been recognized as Ford's luxury car division. Lincoln has produced iconic vehicles, including limousines for U.S. Presidents; however, it remains relatively unknown in some regions. People here tend to buy Ford vehicles rather than Lincoln. This may be due to insufficient marketing, resale value concerns, or simply a lack of interest in Lincoln cars.
Introduction to the New Navigator
First impressions matter significantly, and this is what Lincoln aims to achieve by showcasing its vehicles at auto shows. Last year, they introduced the Continental, and this year, they are unveiling the futuristic Navigator. Yes, Lincoln has finally decided to reveal its new SUV. The previous model felt outdated upon its release and didn't perform well in the market. I recall that the Lincoln Navigator was priced at 125,000 AED, indicating something was amiss.
Expectations for the New Navigator's Design
We hope the new Navigator will change this reputation. If it resembles the concept model, I expect it to impress the audience. One of the most noticeable updates is the car's doors and sills. However, I doubt we will see these doors on production models, to be honest. It will adopt the design elements of the Continental, featuring an elegant front grille, beautiful lights, and 20-inch wheels. Additionally, it will be equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine producing around 400 horsepower, similar to the Lincoln Continental. Other details remain unconfirmed, so we’ll have to wait for more information.
