Maserati Levante: The First SUV from Maserati in the UAE

Al-Tayer Motors, the exclusive distributor of Maserati cars in the UAE, hosted a special event to launch the Maserati's first SUV, named Levante. This new milestone was previously unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show (read more here). The Levante is named after the winds of the Mediterranean and aims to establish itself in the luxury SUV segment of the automotive world.
General Manager's Statement
Hossam Hosny, General Manager of Luxury Cars at Al-Tayer Motors, stated that this is the first SUV in Maserati's history, marking a significant phase for them, especially in the UAE. Our goal was not just to create an SUV, but to create a Maserati vehicle. He added that they are excited about the upcoming period and are pleased to present a new experience for Maserati enthusiasts, expecting the model to be available in UAE showrooms starting from July.

Car Specifications
The Maserati Levante will be available in two options, Levante and S, with the GTS model expected to follow later. Both variants are equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine found in the Ghibli. The base model produces 350 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, while the S model delivers 430 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque.
Performance and Acceleration
- The base model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds.
- The S model achieves this in 5.2 seconds.
- The top speed for the base model is 251 km/h.
- The S model reaches 264 km/h.
Both models feature an 8-speed automatic ZF transmission.
Driving Modes
The Levante offers four driving modes:
- Normal
- Sport
- I.C.E (for snow)
- Off Road
With a 50/50 weight distribution, the vehicle includes adaptive control, front collision warning, brake assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, and a brand-new 8.4" entertainment screen. It is expected to launch this summer, with prices starting at AED 316,150 for the base model and AED 363,150 for the S model.
