Mercedes-Benz made a strong presence at the Qatar Motor Show, attracting a large following in the Gulf region, particularly in Qatar. They showcased their stunning vehicles previously displayed at the Dubai Motor Show once again at this event. We were on-site to cover the event and report on statements made by officials such as Khaled Shaban, General Manager of Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, and Philippe Melin, Sales Manager for Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars.
Latest Mercedes-Benz Models at the Qatar Motor Show
During its sixth edition, the Qatar Motor Show featured the introduction of four new models from Mercedes-Benz. The showcased vehicles were:
- A250 Sport
- G500 Square
- C450 AMG
- C300 Coupe 2016
NBK (Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles) was the first to unveil these models.
Launch of SUV Models
Recently launched SUV models were also present at the Mercedes-Benz section, showcasing their impressive lineup of vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz and NBK focused on their principles of combining luxury, reliability, and performance.
Statements from Philippe Melin
Philippe Melin stated, "Mercedes AMG reached a new peak in Qatar last year with a growth of 22%. This is attributed to the performance of our flagship models like the new C63 and the compact cars, in addition to the stunning AMG GTS. Our growth in Qatar continues to break records."
Growth in the Qatari Market
They are also introducing new points of entry for the world of Mercedes-Benz through the new generation of compact cars. In Qatar, they have seen a growth of 47%, marking a significant step in our history.
Mercedes-Benz Design
The launch of the new S Class in 2014 and the new C Class the same year showcased Mercedes-Benz's innovative design. The 27% growth of the C Class in Qatar underscores the brand's success in the region over the past two years.
