Mercedes Unveils the New E-Class Coupe
Introduction
On the 14th of this month, Mercedes unveiled the E-Class Coupe in Stuttgart, Germany. This model is the latest addition to the E-Class family, showcasing a new body style that features larger dimensions compared to its predecessor.
Dimensions and Design
The new E-Class Coupe has seen an increase in length by 12 cm, width by 7.5 cm, and height by 11 cm. These new dimensions enhance the spaciousness and comfort of the interior. Mercedes has also made slight design adjustments to align with the vehicle's updated size.
Engines
The vehicle will be equipped with four different engines, which include:
- A 2.0-liter diesel engine with 4 cylinders producing 194 horsepower.
- A 3.0-liter gasoline engine with 6 cylinders generating 333 horsepower.
- Two 2.0-liter gasoline engines with 4 cylinders, producing 184 horsepower and 245 horsepower, respectively.
To enhance its sporty appearance, Mercedes has lowered the suspension by 1.5 cm, providing a smoother and more comfortable driving experience.
Technologies and Features
As with the previous model of the E-Class, this vehicle is expected to host a variety of advanced technologies and comfort and safety features found in its standard version. It is scheduled to debut in showrooms in the summer of 2017.
