The ES5 showcases a contemporary aesthetic with its closed face design, sharp headlights, and Y-shape through-type lights. The SUV's dimensions are as follows:

The ES5 is equipped with a lithium-ion phosphate battery pack, available in two capacities: 49.1 kWh and 62.2 kWh. These options provide a CLTC pure electric range of 425 km, 515 km, and 525 km, respectively. Notably, MG claims that the battery pack thickness of 110 mm is the thinnest in the world.

The ES5's interior is characterized by a modern and minimalist design, featuring a central control screen layout, an instrument panel, and a flat-bottom steering wheel. The center console offers a hollow design for additional storage space, along with cupholders and wireless charging capabilities.
Pricing and Availability
The MG ES5 is expected to be priced between 100,000 and 150,000 yuan (approximately 14,100 to 21,200 USD). The SUV is anticipated to launch in China later this year and has the potential for global export, as evidenced by sightings of test vehicles in Europe.
