Middle East Car of the Year Awards 2017
The Middle East Car of the Year Awards (MECOTY) celebrated its fourth edition for 2017 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, coinciding with the second edition of the Abu Dhabi International Motor Show and the third edition of the UAE Modifying Cars Exhibition.
The event was attended by numerous media representatives and officials from major automotive brands. Notable manufacturers included Audi, which won 9 awards, Jaguar and Land Rover, which secured 3 awards, along with Toyota, which received 2 awards.
Audi led the ceremony by achieving a new record with awards in seven different categories, in addition to winning the judges' car of the year award. Enrico Atanasio, Audi Middle East Director, stated: "Audi Middle East is proud to win seven awards at the Middle East Car of the Year Awards this year. We would like to thank the judges and our customers for their appreciation, loyalty, and trust in Audi vehicles."

- Best Luxury Compact Sedan: Audi A4
- Best Midsize Sedan: Nissan Altima
- Best Exceptional Midsize Sedan: Volvo S90
- Best High-Performance Luxury Midsize Sedan: Audi RS 7 Performance
- Best Large Sedan: Kia Cadenza
- Best Luxury Large Sedan: Cadillac CT6
- Best High-Performance Luxury Large Sedan: Audi S8 Plus
2. SUVs / Pickup Trucks
- Best Luxury Crossover: Infiniti QX50
- Best Small Compact SUV: Renault Koleos
- Best Compact SUV: Ford Edge
- Best Luxury Compact SUV: Audi RS Q3
- Best High-Performance Luxury Compact SUV: Jaguar F-Pace
- Best Midsize SUV: Toyota Fortuner
- Best Luxury Large SUV: Bentley Bentayga
