New Range Rover Evoque: Price and Specifications
Price of the Range Rover Evoque
How would you feel if I told you that you could own a brand new Range Rover for only 173,460 AED with the completely redesigned Range Rover Evoque in its second generation? It’s certainly an attractive figure, but in this report, we will explore how the price changes for the Evoque we are testing today, the P300 HSE R-Dynamic with all available features.
Design of the Range Rover Evoque
Exterior Design
The new Evoque indeed presents itself as a crossover with a sleek and beautiful design, drawing many of its design elements from the Range Rover Velar. These elements are immediately noticeable in the slimmer headlights and taillights, the disappearing electric door handles, all of which add a sense of maturity to the overall design of the Evoque.
R-Dynamic Version
With the R-Dynamic version, the Evoque features a lower bumper and a distinct design for the air intakes with clear horizontal lines, along with plastic trims on the hood and other details that give the Evoque a sporty touch. The R-Dynamic badge is prominently displayed in various locations on the vehicle, and the R-Dynamic package will cost you 8,925 AED.
Total: 173,460 + 8,925 = 182,385 AED
Black Exterior Package
This sporty character is further enhanced by the Evoque's black exterior package, which means that the Range Rover badges at the front and rear are in black, along with the grille, bumpers, mirrors, horizontal lines on the air intakes, and plastic trims on the hood and sides of the vehicle, all in black. This package will cost you 4,200 AED, plus an additional 4,200 AED for the special color, referred to as Range Rover Seoul Pearl Silver.
Total: 182,385 + 4,200 + 4,200 = 190,785 AED
Performance and Technology
Engines
The Evoque in this generation is available in our markets with three options of 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engines, differing in power output. The most powerful is the P300 version we have today, which produces 300 PS (approximately 296 horsepower) and 400 Nm of torque, enabling the Evoque to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 242 km/h.
Touch Pro Duo System
As the vehicle we are reviewing today is the HSE version, it is equipped with the Touch Pro Duo system, featuring two touchscreen displays in the center console. The upper display controls navigation, mobile connectivity, entertainment settings, and multimedia.
The lower display primarily manages dual-zone climate control, driving modes, and additional controls. With the Evoque HSE, we also receive a 12.3-inch display instead of the traditional instrument panel.
Features and Comfort
For an exceptional sound experience while enjoying your favorite music, you can opt to equip the Evoque with a Meridian audio system featuring 14 speakers and a subwoofer, which is included in this Evoque.
The parking assistance package doesn’t stop there. The Evoque also comes with alerts for rear traffic and pedestrians, notifications for passengers about moving vehicles when exiting the car, and a fully automated parking system.
Conclusion
As you’ve read, we started this report with a price of 173,460 AED, and we concluded with a significantly different total of 313,305 AED. The question arises: would you be willing to pay such an amount for a fully optioned Range Rover Evoque, or would you prefer to invest that money in a Range Rover Velar?
Personally, I would rather add approximately 34,000 AED to this price and acquire a Range Rover Sport, even if it were the standard Range Rover Sport.
