Nissan has officially unveiled the "Z Proto" concept car, announcing its intention to launch a new generation of Z sports cars. The event was held virtually and streamed worldwide from Nissan's booth in Yokohama, Japan.
Car Design
The Z Proto features a completely revamped design, both inside and out, alongside a 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine and a manual transmission.
Inspiration and Sources
The concept car was first introduced in a promotional video titled "Nissan A-Z," drawing inspiration from the rich 50-year history of the Z model while incorporating modern sporty elements.
CEO's Statement
In this context, Makoto Uchida, CEO of Nissan, stated: "The Z is an outstanding sports car that embodies the spirit of Nissan. It is a cornerstone of our Nissan NEXT transformation strategy and a testament to our ability to do what others dare not, from start to finish. Event Attendance
The virtual event was attended by a diverse group of sports car enthusiasts, including members of the Z Club in Japan and the ZCON conference in Nashville, USA, along with other fans from around the world.
