The Velar, being the lowest model in Land Rover’s arsenal, showcases smoother lines and emphasizes sportiness over all-terrain capability. The cabin is heavily influenced by the Jaguar I-Pace and features three touchscreens, indicating a theme that will permeate upcoming models.
Performance of the Range Rover Velar
Under the broad hood of the Velar sits a 3.0-liter engine that produces 375 horsepower and an impressive 450 Nm of torque. When driven conservatively, the Velar achieves a fuel efficiency of 9.4 liters per 100 kilometers and can reach 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds when pushed to its limits. The Velar continues to accelerate until it reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.
