Lotus Emeya: A New Electric Hyper-GT
Lotus has expanded its electric lineup with the introduction of the Emeya, a luxury grand tourer designed to rival the world's most prestigious electric vehicles. Available in three trims - Emeya, Emeya S, and Emeya R - the Emeya boasts a powerful dual-motor setup capable of producing up to 905 horsepower and 985 Nm of torque. This translates to a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 256 km/h.
The Emeya's exterior is characterized by a sleek and aerodynamic design, featuring a sharp nose, LED headlamps, and a fastback silhouette. Inside, the cabin is luxuriously appointed with sustainable materials, real metal accents, and advanced technology, including a massive 55-inch head-up display and a 15.1-inch HD OLED infotainment system.
Powered by a high-capacity 102 kWh battery, the Emeya offers an impressive range of up to 610 km on a single charge. It also supports ultra-fast charging, allowing for a 10-80% charge in just 14 minutes using a 400 kW DC fast charger.
Volkswagen Tiguan: A Refreshed Compact SUV
Volkswagen has unveiled the third-generation Tiguan for the GCC markets, featuring a redesigned exterior, updated interior, and advanced technology. The new Tiguan is equipped with IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights, a 10-inch Digital Cockpit, and an optional 15-inch infotainment screen. Under the hood, the Tiguan is powered by a 1.4L TSI engine producing 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
The Tiguan is available in four variants - Life, Life Plus, Elegance, and R-Line - with prices ranging from Dh109,500 to Dh144,800.
Riddara RD6: A New Electric Pickup Truck
Geely's subsidiary, Riddara, has introduced the RD6, an all-electric pickup truck designed to cater to the needs of both lifestyle and utility-oriented drivers. The RD6 features a 5.26-meter body, a 1,200+ liter rear "super bucket," and a load capacity of 450 kg.
Powered by a dual-motor setup, the RD6 produces a total output of 315 kW and 585 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The RD6 also offers a range of up to 455 km on a single charge and supports a towing capacity of 3,500 kg.
With its combination of performance, utility, and advanced technology, the Riddara RD6 represents a significant step forward for the electric pickup truck segment.
