Introduction
In an effort to enhance convenience for all drivers residing in and visiting Sharjah, the city's municipality has introduced a new feature that allows drivers to reserve parking spaces for more than one hour via SMS.
Service Details
This service is currently available to Etisalat customers and will soon extend to Du customers as well. This initiative addresses a longstanding issue that previously allowed drivers to reserve parking for only one hour.
How to Utilize the Service
The service aims to increase benefits for drivers and reduce fines related to forgotten renewals or extensions of parking tickets. To take advantage of this service, drivers must send a message containing:
- Source of the license plate
- License plate number
- Number of hours
to the number 5566.
