Toyota's Patent for a Flying Car
Toyota is planning something innovative. In 2015, the company patented a design for a flying car featuring an extraordinary structure. To make things even more exciting, this capability is intended for the next generation of the Cami. As of now, the exact details of what Toyota has patented remain unclear, but time will tell.
Design of the Flying Car
Toyota introduced its latest patent in 2014, which was published in 2015, aimed at manufacturing a vehicle that can transform into an aircraft. The concept is quite simple, with wings hidden within the car's body until it is time for takeoff. When ready for launch, the sides will lift upward and the wings will extend, allowing this flexible structure to achieve the necessary aerodynamics.
Engine and Technology
Utilizing a rear propeller, it is evident that this flying car is powered by a rear engine or an electric motor that drives the rear wheels. Although this patent has the potential to address traffic issues, it currently remains just a patent—nothing more.
