- The vehicle's condition during the annual inspection

According to Sultan Al Marzouqi, Director of the Vehicle Licensing Department at RTA, "The launch of the Vehicle Status Certificate is an excellent addition to our current licensing services. It provides customers and potential buyers of used cars with essential detailed information available from the RTA about the vehicle's condition, with the owner's consent. The cost of obtaining a Vehicle Status Certificate is 120 AED."

The Vehicle Status Certificate is also available for imported vehicles to the UAE from American, European, and Asian countries, through RTA's collaboration with international companies like CARFAX and Auto DNA.
