Smart Security Vehicles at Hamad International Airport
A new type of smart security vehicle has been launched in Doha at Hamad International Airport for efficient security screening.
Advanced Detection Technology
These vehicles are equipped with technology capable of detecting weapons, drugs, and explosives without disrupting the airport's operational efficiency. Additionally, the vehicles are fitted with devices that read:
- Passenger information
- Their documents
- Travel tickets
- Goods
- Fingerprints
- Document authenticity
Transmission to Control Room
These devices send images to the security control room, which include:
- 360-degree panoramic images
Significance and Trial Launch
These vehicles are the first of their kind in the Gulf region and have been launched on a trial basis.
