Suzuki has launched a rival to Toyota Avanza with 7 seater MPV, Suzuki Ertiga. The model is available in UAE and it's not confirmed whether other GCC markets will follow. The new model comes with ABS and EBD as standard with dual airbags. The engine is underpowered, at 1.4 liters producing 94 HP. Here's how it compares with Avanza:

While it's a good option for commercial carriers looking to save fuel with city trips and transferring cargo, it may not be an ideal family van as it lacks power and ideally should have more safety and comfort features in the rear.
