Jaguar is recalling the 2013 XF and XJ 2.0-liter vehicles due to a manufacturing defect involving an unsafe hose. This defect can cause engine stalling and impact the brakes.
Details of the Recall
The vehicles manufactured in the United Kingdom have been flagged for "incorrect design" in coordination with the Consumer Protection Department of the Ministry of Economy.
Number of Affected Vehicles
Approximately 110 vehicles are affected, including 92 XF and 17 XJ, according to Jaguar dealers in the UAE, Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors.
Incidents and Actions Taken
Jaguar reported that only one low-speed incident occurred due to this defect, with no accidents reported in the UAE so far.
Customer Communication
Jaguar dealers, Al Tayer and Premier Motors, stated that they will contact customers, and the necessary modifications will be provided free of charge.
