2016 Toyota Innova: Complete Specifications of the All-New Model

The all-new Toyota Innova 2016 has recently been launched by Al-Futtaim Motors in the UAE. (Read more about the launch here). This is a completely new generation of the Innova, and it took them 10 years to launch this second generation, similar to the Fortuner as well. The Innova is well-known for transporting groups of people, especially for corporate use. However, we have not yet tested it.
Design of the Car
The car is entirely new both inside and out. It has become longer, wider, and taller than before, while the wheelbase remains the same. The exterior changes include:
- Chrome accents on the front grille
- New front and rear lights
- New wheels
Interior of the Toyota Innova
Toyota has focused on the interior with the Innova. Silver and faux wood accents have been added, along with a 4.2” TFT display, similar to that added to the Fortuner. The screen displays alerts, navigation, and more. The Innova comes with either 7 or 8 seats. The seven-seat model features two "captain" seats, and there are foldable tables in the second row. Additionally, it includes cruise control and a new air conditioning system.
Engine Performance
The engine of the new Innova is a 2.7L producing 164 horsepower and 25 kg-m of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. For safety, it comes equipped with ABS/EBD, a rear camera, pedestrian protection, and airbags. The price of the car starts from AED 92,900 to AED 102,900.
