Audi Q8 e-tron Makes Regional Debut in the Middle East
Audi Middle East has unveiled its latest fully electric vehicle, the all-new Q8 e-tron, marking its first regional appearance. This flagship electric SUV showcases a refreshed design and numerous upgrades, particularly to its front fascia, setting new benchmarks for luxury and innovation in the segment.
Audi's Electric Mobility Journey
Audi began its journey into electric mobility in 2018 with the launch of the Audi e-tron, establishing new standards for luxury electric SUVs. Continuing this legacy, the new Q8 e-tron builds on the pioneering e-tron story, standing out as the best in its class. The Q8 e-tron features an advanced driving experience, improved aerodynamics, a larger battery capacity, faster charging, and an extended driving range per charge.
New Identity and Design Highlights
The Q8 e-tron is the first Audi model to feature the brand's new corporate identity, with "Audi" lettering on the B-pillar and a redesigned two-dimensional four rings emblem. The distinctive air diffuser on the single-frame grille further accentuates the iconic Audi rings and the SUV’s bold front design.
Expanding the Electric Lineup
Audi’s electric range currently includes six models, among them the Q8 e-tron. By 2026, Audi plans to expand its electric lineup to over 20 models, offering only fully electric vehicles as part of its ambitious Vorsprung 2030 strategy.
Enhanced Daily Usability and Range
The new Q8 e-tron leads Audi’s all-electric lineup for everyday use, thanks to its improved efficiency and increased range. The Q8 e-tron can deliver up to 582 km on a single charge, while the Q8 Sportback e-tron offers up to 600 km.

New Front, Name, and Corporate Identity
The Q8 e-tron’s name signals its position as the most powerful among Audi’s electric SUVs and crossovers. The exterior design of both the Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron represents a significant evolution in Audi’s electric design language, featuring new elements at the front and rear, a prominent single-frame grille, inverted mesh, and newly styled rear diffuser bars.
Luxury Interior Experience
Inside, the Q8 e-tron offers a wealth of comfort features, including a four-zone climate control system and a range of optional upgrades such as an air purification package, massage function, side-bolstered seats, and ambient lighting for added sophistication. The available panoramic glass roof enhances cabin spaciousness and provides a refreshing atmosphere.
Standard perforated leather seats include three-stage ventilation for optimal comfort, even in hot climates. Interior trim options feature open-pore woods like ash and sycamore, or aluminum accents, with new choices such as light brown walnut and partially recycled PET bottle materials for a sustainable touch.
Two Advanced Electric Drivetrains
- Both the Q8 55 e-tron and Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron are equipped with dual motors producing 300 kW in boost mode and 664 Nm of torque, achieving ranges of 582 km and 600 km, respectively.
- The SQ8 Sportback e-tron—the most powerful of the three—features three motors generating a combined 370 kW in boost mode and 973 Nm of torque, with a range of up to 513 km.
Bigger Battery, Faster Charging
The Q8 55 e-tron supports rapid charging up to 170 kW at fast-charging stations, allowing the large battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 31 minutes—enabling a range of up to 420 km between charges. For home or AC charging, the Q8 e-tron can be charged at up to 11 kW, with an optional upgrade to 22 kW available from Audi.
The Q8 e-tron also comes standard with Plug & Charge functionality, providing seamless charging convenience.
Sustainable Production
Sustainability is a core pillar for Audi, which is committed to enhancing sustainability across its entire value chain. Audi aims for net-zero emissions by 2050 and carbon neutrality by 2025. The Q8 e-tron is produced in the world’s first large-scale carbon-neutral factory for luxury vehicles. Through its Vorsprung 2030 strategy, Audi is also driving regional infrastructure projects to expand EV charging services across the region.
Middle East Availability
The Audi Q8 e-tron will be available at authorized dealers in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, and Lebanon starting March 2023, with launches in other markets set for the following six months.
