Cadillac Unveils High-Performance V-Series Blackwing Models
Today, Cadillac announced that the fourth generation of its V-Series, currently led by the 2020 models of CT4-V and CT5-V, will introduce high-performance models named Blackwing. The upcoming vehicles, equipped with racing capabilities, will be known as CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing, representing the pinnacle of performance and driver engagement that Cadillac offers.

Brandon Vivian, Cadillac's Chief Engineer, stated: "The name Blackwing has become synonymous with the best in performance engineering, craftsmanship, and technology from Cadillac. Features of the V-Series Blackwing Models
The V-Series Blackwing models will feature specially designed chassis, vehicle control technologies, and engines tailored to support their superior performance. Each model includes a manual transmission, a highly sought-after feature among most high-performance driving enthusiasts, even as many luxury brands have phased it out.
Performance Testing
The CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing underwent extensive testing, including track and road driving across the country. Earlier this year, both vehicles outperformed the legendary CTS-V and ATS-V models by several seconds during laps at Virginia International Raceway.
