Dubai Police: Confiscating Cars Due to Noise

On Tuesday, the Chief of Dubai Police announced that vehicles will be permanently confiscated if drivers play loud music in residential areas.
Noise Complaints
Residents, particularly in Jumeirah, have reported instances of individuals driving through their neighborhoods at midnight with loud music, according to Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim. They have also expressed concerns about noisy motorcycles.
Measures Being Taken
He also mentioned that undercover police and patrols will monitor for any violations, adding that this rule is not new.
A Call for Decency
He further urged drivers to behave responsibly and avoid disturbing families in their homes, stating that those who wish to listen to loud music should go to remote areas.
