Maserati has announced the production of the elegant concept car, Alfieri.

Months have passed since news of this concept car, which will compete with the F-Type, and the company has confirmed that both Alfieri and a new Maserati SUV will be manufactured soon, hitting the streets shortly.
Production Timeline and Technology
Production is expected to begin between 2016 and 2017. The Alfieri will be available with the following engine options:
- V6
- V8 twin-turbo with rear-wheel drive, similar to the Ghibli.
This is exciting news from Maserati. "This is the year of the Alfieri," said Maserati CEO Harald Wester. "It is a remarkable concept car to celebrate our centenary, named after our founder."
