There were earlier rumors that British journalist Chris Harris and German driving instructor Sabine Schmitz would co-host the show with Evans. However, Schmitz, known for her expertise on the Nürburgring racetrack, commented that she would not be hosting Top Gear. Although she was spotted filming an episode, so she may still have a small role.
