Design That Feels Familiar but Fresh
At first glance, the GLC EV isn’t trying to be radical. Mercedes has clearly chosen an evolutionary design, sticking close to the proportions and lines of the standard GLC. Mercedes didn’t treat the GLC as just another pretty face. An optional Airmatic air suspension borrowed from the S-Class is offered, and it works with a new Car-to-X system that can pre-adjust damping and ride height based on upcoming road data.
The SUV can even use map information to alter ride height for efficiency and comfort. There is an optional rear-axle steering system that turns the back wheels up to 4.5 degrees at low speeds for better manoeuvrability.
