MG Motor Announces New Partnership with Inter Emirates Motors in the UAE

Expanding MG's Dealer Network

MG Motor has announced the selection of Inter Emirates Motors, a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding, as its official new dealer in the United Arab Emirates. This expansion aims to make MG's popular vehicle lineup more accessible to a larger customer base in the country.

Commencement of the New Partnership

This new partnership takes effect immediately and comes at a time when the British brand is experiencing record sales in the Middle East. MG entered the list of the top ten selling car companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in 2020, recording a growing number of customers purchasing its modern vehicles.

Showroom Openings

Inter Emirates Motors plans to open showrooms in:

• Abu Dhabi
• Dubai
• Ras Al Khaimah

They also aim to launch additional facilities by the end of June. Retail sales will be supported through high-quality after-sales services.

Ensuring Customer Comfort

It has been confirmed that all existing warranty and maintenance contracts for MG vehicles currently on the roads in the UAE will not be affected by this change. All customer data has been transferred to Inter Emirates Motors, ensuring that current owners continue to enjoy the highest standards of customer service.

Commenting on this development, Tom Lee, CEO of MG Motor Operations in the Middle East, stated: "We have very high ambitions for the MG brand in the Middle East. We have been looking for a dealer in the UAE who shares our vision."

On the other hand, Mohammed Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, General Manager of Inter Emirates Motors, remarked: "The Ali & Sons Group has always been committed to the services it provides nationally and ensuring quality."

MG Model Range

The MG model range marketed in the United Arab Emirates includes:

• The new MG HS - winner of the "Car of the Year in the Middle East 2020" award
• The new MG5 - named "Best Compact Sedan" in the Middle East
• The new seven-seater MG RX8 SUV
• The MG RX5 SUV
• The MG 6 sedan
• The new MG ZS compact SUV

All these vehicles come with a manufacturer’s warranty of six years or 200,000 kilometers.

The selection of Inter Emirates Motors enhances MG's presence in the United Arab Emirates, which hosts the regional office for the brand.
