Nissan has shattered the Guinness World Record for the fastest drift in the world, achieving an incredible speed of 304.96 km/h at a 30-degree angle using a modified Nissan GT-R. This record was set during a special event held at Fujairah International Airport in the UAE, which features a 3 km long runway ideal for such a feat.

The Nissan GT-R was developed with the expertise of Nismo, resulting in a powerhouse with 1,380 horsepower and rear-wheel drive. The car was outfitted by GReddy Trust and underwent rigorous testing in preparation for the challenge.

Team Efforts and Technology Used
Technicians from GReddy Trust worked on the modified 2016 Nissan GT-R over three days on the track, with only three attempts allowed to break the record according to Guinness regulations. They received support from the Pro Drift Academy, Recaro seats, RAYS forged wheels, and Toyo tires.
