Inside, the brand’s fastidious attention to detail is prevalent with threads of aluminum woven and bonded in carbon fiber for a technical fascia. The roof, which opens in a ‘Silent Ballet’, is also only available in black canvas, whilst the rear deck is finished in black leather. A nod to Sir Malcolm Campbell, the Infinity rating logo works as a reminder of a man who possessed the restless spirit that defines the Black Badge attitude.

With changes made to the transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, and exhaust, the 2018 Rolls Royce Dawn Black Badge offers an enhanced feeling of urgency without diminishing its position as the world’s most luxurious open-top tourer. Since each Black Badge will be individually commisoned and optioned to the wishes of customers, in theory no two Black Badge cars will be identical.
