Updated Public Transport Bus Schedules for Ramadan 2025 in Cairo

The Chairman of the Cairo Transport Authority, Major General Rizk Ali, has announced the preparations for the upcoming month of Ramadan, which includes adjustments to the bus schedules to align with the official working hours for employees in both the public and private sectors, as well as other institutions.
Bus Departure Times
Rizk stated that the first batch of buses will depart at 5:30 AM, with additional buses scheduled to run until 8:00 AM to accommodate the working hours across Greater Cairo.
Focus on Peak Hours
In an interview with Al-Watan, Rizk mentioned that the public transport buses will be intensified before Iftar to cover peak hours, deploying additional buses to areas with high public attendance throughout the holy month.

- Al-Hussein
- Al-Azhar
- Sayed Zainab
- Sayed Nafisa
- Sayed Aisha
- Amr Mosque
- Imam Al-Shafi'i
The operation of public transport buses will extend until midnight, with some areas serviced until 1:00 AM.
Reducing Wait Times
Rizk emphasized that efforts are underway to reduce wait times in order to provide better service for citizens and meet their needs. He confirmed that the Transport Authority is committed to offering a suitable service for the public in Greater Cairo.
