In a bid to increase the safety of road users across the UAE, the Ministry of Interior has implemented a host of new traffic fines, that include but are not limited to, speeding, reckless driving, and littering while driving. Mentioned below are the newly introduced fines that motorists should be aware of, along with their tariffs and respective black points.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai Police warned that motorists caught street racing will be heavily penalized with a fine worth AED 2,000, 23 black points, and have their vehicle impounded for 60 days.
