Dania Aqeel: Saudi Rally Champion for the 2024 Season
Saudi rally champion Dania Aqeel will participate in the 2024 season in two categories: Ultimate T1 Plus and T3 Challenger. Dania will compete in the Ultimate T1 Plus category with a Toyota Hilux for the Saudi Toyota 2024 Championship as part of the OverDrive Racing team. Additionally, she will participate in the T3 Challenger category for the World Rally Championship with BBR Motorsport.
Dania Aqeel's Participation Details for the 2024 Season
Saudi rally champion Dania Aqeel has announced her entry into the 2024 season, where she will compete in both local and international categories. Domestically, Dania will join the Ultimate T1 Plus category driving a Toyota Hilux in the Saudi Toyota 2024 Championship, alongside the OverDrive Racing team. This move will enhance her local experience, particularly after her previous participation in the Saudi Toyota championships and three editions of the Dakar Rally, gaining valuable knowledge of the challenging terrains of the Kingdom.
On the international front, Dania will continue her journey in the T3 Challenger category in the World Rally Championship with BBR Motorsport, known for their extensive experience in cross-country events. Dania has successfully navigated some of the toughest stages around the globe, thanks to her skills and the support of a maintenance team that ensures her vehicle performs at its best.

Dania Aqeel's Journey in the World of Rallying
Dania has previously participated in the Saudi Dakar Rally for the third time, alongside French navigator Stéphane Duplé. This follows her successful participation in the Saudi Toyota Rally Championship, where she secured second place in the T3 category and third place overall. She also achieved third place in the "Baja" World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies under the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile).
