Nissan BladeGlider: The Electric Vehicle with a Dynamic Design
Design and Performance
The Delta Wing offers a unique global experience on the Le Mans racetrack, designed to minimize aerodynamic drag while allowing for slightly higher speeds with half the weight. Its design resembles a delta-winged aircraft, featuring an exceptionally narrow front width of just 0.6 meters and a total width of 1.7 meters.
Unveiling the BladeGlider
Since Nissan began working on the Nissan BladeGlider in 2012, the idea of seeing it on public roads seems increasingly imminent. In a race to make the Delta Wing available to the general public, Nissan unveiled the BladeGlider prototype, which looks stunning!
Emissions and Their Impact
First revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2013, the vehicle is expected to produce near-zero emissions. It is also anticipated that the prototype will make its debut at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
Future Expectations
Although still a prototype, preparations for its manufacturing are underway. The vehicle is expected to be powered by 268 horsepower, which is impressive considering its weight. Clearly, the manufacturing process will take some time, but we are excited for its launch.
