Due to a brake torque defect, several new models of Nissan Pathfinder and Infiniti JX have been recalled.
Recall Details
Authorized distributors in Dubai stated that although the Ministry of Economy announced the recall today in local media, they are not aware of any such news.
Official Announcement from the Ministry of Economy
The Ministry of Economy stated in an announcement that this was a joint decision between the Consumer Protection Department and Nissan Middle East to recall the 2013 model vehicles.
Reason for the Recall
The announcement indicates that the defect was identified in the manufacturing process of the front brake torque member.
- This condition leads to a weakness in the component structure.
- It may result in the development of cracks while operating the vehicles.
Reactions from Dealers
Official dealers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, as well as a representative from the Arabian Automobile Company, echoed the same statement, saying:
"So far, we have not been informed about any recall. Please leave your contact details, and we will get back to you."
