June 2019 Petrol Prices in the UAE

The Ministry of Energy & Industry has announced the petrol prices for the month of June 2019. After a series of increases, the petrol prices (including VAT) for June are as follows:

Petrol Prices Overview

• Super 98: AED 2.53 per liter – an increase from AED 2.48 in May.
• Super 95: AED 2.42 per liter – an increase from AED 2.34 in May.
• Diesel: AED 2.56 per liter – an increase from AED 2.53 in May.

Factors Influencing Petrol Prices

The consensus for the price increases is attributed to OPEC cuts and US sanctions on fuel exports from Iran and Venezuela. OPEC and a few allies, including Russia, are set to meet on June 25^th and 26^th to discuss output policy.
