Petrol prices for the month of June have been announced by the Ministry of Energy & Industry. Going through a series of increases, the petrol prices for the month of June 2019 (including VAT) are as follows:
- Super 98: AED 2.53 per liter – an increase from AED 2.48 in May.
- Super 95: AED 2.42 per liter – an increase from AED 2.34 in May.
- Diesel: SED 2.56 per liter – an increase from AED 2.53 in May.
The consensus for the price is down to Opec cuts and US sanctions on fuel exports from Iran and Venezuela. Opec and a few allies, including Russia, are set to meet on June 25th and 26th to discuss output policy.
